“I grew up with photography. My father, Peter Steiner, is a commercial photographer in Rochester, NY.

My high school years were spent at the Norman Howard School where I was lucky to enjoy the tutelage of Bruce Bennett, a professional photographer. He encouraged me to develop my skills and I immersed myself in anything I could get my hands on – Andre Kertesz, Robert Frank, Bruce Davidson, Diane Arbus – and many others.”

Andrew Steiner’s work has been exhibited at Bauhaus Gallery in Baltimore, New Orleans Cultural Center, Light Impressions Gallery in New York, and at Rangefinder Gallery and Eat Paint Studio (now closed) in Chicago, IL.
